Anil Noronha leads the HR function at Omkar Realtors & Developers, an Indian leader in Real Estate development.
Anil has over 25 years of experience in the field of people management and strategic HR consulting. He has consistently partnered with senior leadership in creating a progressive culture built on core values while executing various people programs in alignment with business needs, thus resulting in happier and more effective employees, satisfied customers and better company performance.
Prior to joining Omkar, Anil has served in several positions including Head of HR at Bombay Dyeing Group, Executive Vice President Group HR with Rajesh Wadhawan Group (7 yrs), Senior Vice President Group HR at Ashok Piramal Group (2yrs), and Director HR, Indian Subcontinent with USA based IT leader, Novell Inc (11 yrs). Anil initially spent 8 years with the hospitality industry leader Oberoi Hotels in a customer facing role.
Being a HR expert, Anil regularly addresses various industry forums and is often invited to serve as a member of a jury or an advisory committee. He was invited for consultation by members of a sub-committee formed under The Planning Commission of India to make recommendations to remodel the Apprenticeship regime in the country. The Retail Association of India (RAI) invited Anil to be a member of the Sector Skill Council set up by National Skill Development Corporation, a not-for-profit company set up by the Ministry of Finance to further the cause of creating a trained workforce to cater to the growth of the Retail industry.
He continues to write for several leading publications, sharing his learning and contributing to the development of Human Resources in India. Anil also earned several industry honors and awards.
Anil has traveled across the globe and has wide exposure to international HR best practices, having worked with some of the best HR and business professionals worldwide.
