Shalini is a Strategic HR leader with strong business background with expertise in Talent Management, Succession Management, and Learning Development & Diversity. She has 18 years of experience in very diverse roles in business and HR. She is currently the Director for Talent management for Asia and Middle East in Schneider Electric. In her current role she is responsible for succession management, identification and development of the potential pool across the region. In this role she has successfully created and implemented succession qualification process which has led to having realistic succession bench. She also leads diversity initiative for the region.
Shalini started her career in technical design and then joined Schneider Electric in sales. Since then she has done varied roles in business and HR at local, regional and global levels. After sales, she moved to product marketing where she launched a range of products, one of them today has a business size of 40 MEuro in India. She then moved to Strategy for Industry Markets and her key achievement there was integration of technical offer of Compton Greaves an acquired company for the medium market and localicazation of push button offer in India. She then created and led the Learning and Development department of Schneider India .This was a startup initiative and she created the complete machine supporting 17000 employees, 25 plants for functional, technical and leadership trainings. She also led the development of HIPOs at a global level.
She loves learning and new challenges and her learning agility had helped her in all the different roles she has done. A humble, people oriented leader, she loves developing and coaching teams and working on different challenges with a long term perspective. She is an Electrical Engineer with a Masters in Marketing .She is also a certified Life coach and is certified in psychometrics like Hogan and other assessments tools like LVI.
