Biography

Manoj Sharma is a Commerce Graduate from Pune University and postgraduate in Human Resource Management with rich 22 years of experience of heading the HR function in various capacities. Out of 22 yrs of work experience, 20 years have been with Anand Automotive Group. He has worked in various companies of Anand Group like Mahle Behr, Dana Spicer, Takata & Gabriel. Joining the group as Office HR has moved up the ranks with 8 promotions and currently at the level of Vice President.

His is currently associated with Gabriel India Ltd., Flagship Company of the Anand Group. Established in 1961, the company provides the widest range of ride control products in India, including Shock Absorbers, Struts and Front Forks with its Head Office in Pune and 11 Plants and 3 R & D centers across India. He is currently working as Head of Human Resource & designated as Vice President.

Apart from the routine Human Resource responsibilities of handling the HR function of its 11 locations, as Corporate HR Head he is also responsible for turning and maintaining the organization as preferred place to work: by aligning the organization vision and mission with the HR objectives.

His role is to create an atmosphere which will develop an employee-oriented and high performance culture for the growth of the company and its employees. Gabriel has been featuring in top 100 Great Places to Work Survey since past few years.

He is also actively involved in developing HR strategy and plan in line with business strategy, drive planning and implementation of all HR processes across the company. It includes special projects, organization restructuring, talent acquisition, performance management, talent management and career planning, learning and development and compensation review.

He was also send on on an Expatriate Assignment to Takata Corporation, Tokyo, Japan thru Anand Automotive Limited, India to supporting Takata to drive decisions on key human resources initiatives and support for designing and setting up the International HR processes and controls. The exposure of working outside India & setting up best in class people processes & policies have given a true Global flavor to the career.
