Ron Drew Stone is an author, consultant, presenter, coach, and an internationally recognized and accomplished authority on improving performance and measuring results. He is president of the Center for Performance and ROI.He consults with clients on performance and measurement issues and certifies practitioners in his trademark measurement and ROI process. He conducts public and in-house workshops on performance, needs analysis and measurement and ROI. He has over 30 years of diverse experience in economic development, training and the human resource function. Since 1995, he hasbeen involved in perfecting the ROI Process. He has conducted over 200 ROI studies and directed hundreds more while coaching and certifying clients on how to apply his measurement and ROI methodology.
Ron served three termsas Chair of the Edison Electric Institute's Executive Leadership Program for senior officers in the electric utility industry.He has served on the steering committee and faculty for the University of Alabama Human Resource Development program and he designed executive programs for the University of Georgia and Auburn University.He served as a Charter memberof Panel of Human Resource Executives for the Birmingham ASTD chapter and is a member of ASTD, the Society for Human Resource Management,and the International Society for Performance Improvement.He received the Pioneer Award from the Alabama Healthcare Council for his leadership of a three year major changeinitiative to improve the quality and cost of healthcare.
Ron is currently certifying clients in China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Thailand, Hong Kong, the Philippines and the USA as he coaches them to implement performance improvement initiatives and measurement and ROI business impact studies. He authored:The Real Value of Training: Measuring and Analyzing Business Outcomes and the Quality of ROI, McGraw-Hill, 2011 and Aligning Training for Results, a Process and Tools that Link Training to Business, Pfeiffer, 2009. He co-authored three additional popular books. His case studies and articles have been published in numerous professional publications by the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD), the Institute of Industrial Engineers, the International Society forPerformance Improvement, and Chief Learning Officer magazine.
Ron is a certified change consultant and a certified measurement and ROI professional (CMRP). He is a graduate of Georgia State University.
