Linley Rose And Mary Britton

Coaching Pacific Ltd.

Linley Rose MCC :
Becoming New Zealand's first Master Certified Coach in 2007 is indicative of Linley's pioneering spirit and her drive for expanding both the quality and recognition of the coaching profession in our region. That MCC status placed Linley into high demand to deliver coach training in emerging regions; she has led many programmes in India, China, Hong Kong and Macau, New Zealand, England and Australia. She also teaches a programme at New Zealand's largest University in the Business Schools Executive Education. The excellent calibre of leaders attending these programmes persistently expands not only Linley's cross cultural knowledge and experience but also her knowledge of pressing leadership issues around the world. It has also informed what works in the training room in one place and may not work in another in the creation of an elegant solution to use everywhere.

Linley backs up her proactive approach by giving many hours of service to the International Coach Federation; as a committee member with special interest in Professional Standards; regularly facilitating Master Classes; service on Global task- forces; has served actively as an ICF Assessor; and in mentoring coaches entering their credential pathways. She has spoken at many coaching events and regularly attends conferences around the world. With well over 4000 hours of coaching and 1000's of hours of training and mentoring she has, along with colleague Mary Britton, put her commitment into developing a cutting edge coach training programme that has earned ACSTH approval from the International Coach Federation.

When not immersed in the world of coaching Linley lives in the beautiful Coromandel, New Zealand with her partner, John, enjoying yoga, pottery, gardens, cooking, travelling and keeping in touch with children and grandchildren scattered around New Zealand.

Mary Britton :
Mary has been training coaches/leaders and coaching across the spectrum of corporate business, not-for-profits/community organisations for over ten years. Participating in, and observing, how the coaching profession has developed its expertise and its ethical standing, as the worlds of business and not for profit come to understand just what coaching delivers, when we stand together in working towards excellence/attainable outcomes for our people. Training for other training organisations,(including Results Coaching Systems- now NLG) provided a series of great opportunities to work with extraordinary clients; and to observe what works well and what could work better in the skill provisioning, consciousness raising and process development of future coaches. Coaching Pacific has used all of this learning to inform our ICF approved Executive and Organisational Coaching Certificate.

New Zealand offers a wonderful turangawaewae' for exploration of bi-cultural and multi-cultural understandings; which can lead towards self-determination and excellence for all in the 21st century. In her 'spare' time Mary studies te reo Māori and walks on the beach/in the bush around her Matapouri home; makes jewellery, music and enjoys her husband Andy and her children.

This year she is also studying "Kaupapa Māori research methodologies" with Auckland University.*(Turangawaewae can be understood as "place to stand" literally, metaphorically, philosophically, intellectually and spiritually.)
