Holly Burkett, PhD, SPHR is Principal of Evaluation Works a performance consultancy in Davis, CA. For more than 20 years, she has helped multi-national organizations improve the strategic impact of diverse learning and talent development initiatives. She is passionate about developing resilient learning and performance capabilities that foster high engagement, drive operational excellence, and create sustainable value. Formerly with Apple, she led enterprise-wide learning and development, managed high potential leader development and succession planning, and designed performance measurement systems to evaluate the business value of HRD initiatives, leading the first impact study within Apple operations. Sample clients include the International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease, Chevron, the UC Davis Talent Management Center of Expertise, and the National Security Agency (NSA).

Holly authored "Learning for the Long Run: 7 Practices for Sustaining a Resilient Learning Organization" (Nov 2016), a chapter in ATD's Talent Management Handbook, and was a select contributor to HRCIs "The Rise of HR: Wisdom from 73 Thought Leaders," an e-book distributed to 1.5+ million HR professionals worldwide. She is an accomplished talent builder, a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), and a volunteer item writer/reviewer for the Human Resource Certification Institute's (HRCI) credentialing exams. She is also a certified ROI professional and a recognized evaluation expert with the US Office of Performance Review. A sought after conference presenter, international facilitator, and innovative learning leader, Holly holds a doctorate in human capital development, along with a master's of human resources and organizational development.
