Shilpy Sharma is the Regional Head of Human Resources for Empower Retirement [earlier known as Great West Global]. In her role, she has been responsible for establishing and growing the India office and also heads D&I and Corporate Social Responsibility for Empower India. Shilpy participates in business discussions, risk and other strategic planning initiatives to help identify suitable business solutions and roles for the Bangalore office. She also oversees planning, development and implementation of all global human resources programs, strategic initiatives to drive business outcomes, people practices and shared service delivery for India, in a global framework. Her responsibilities include talent management, acquisition and total rewards, and she is on the Great-West Financial / Empower Diversity & Inclusion Council and the NASSCOM Diversity & Inclusion Council for the state of Karnataka in India.
Shilpy joined Great West Global in 2015. She has also worked at Northern Trust Corporation, where she served as Second Vice President, Human Resources, managing various global human resources initiatives, strategic planning and business needs, including change management, talent planning and performance management. Shilpy has been passionate about Diversity & Inclusion and has also performed the role of a DIAC Chair.
