Carine Bouery

Carine Bouery is a Workplace Happiness and Employee Experience Strategist and Trainer who helps businesses achieve higher workplace happiness levels by designing positive employee experiences that foster a healthier corporate culture and increase employee loyalty, engagement and productivity.

Carine‘s personal journey with happiness began at the age of 10, but only started exploring it professionally three years ago with the establishment of Synchro Comms | The Pros in Conns in August 2015. Synchro Comms is a people engagement consultancy that looks into five areas of greatest impact on intrinsic motivation: Communication, Recognition, Development, Relationships, and Office Design. We focus on merging the physical and digital work spaces by installing innovative solutions for synchronized collaboration, improved communication and effective performance and instilling people and teams with fun learning, rewarding games, educational role-play and bespoke workshops.

Carine’s background in visual communications, innovation studies and the performing arts continuously brings creativity, novelty and entertainment to every engagement project she leads and supports through Synchro. Her largest client base to date includes PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), DHL, L’Oreal Group, Majid Al Futtaim Holding and Abu Dhabi Ports Company.

Prior to establishing her own business, Carine held senior roles in Corporate Branding, Marketing and Communications with renowned organizations in their industries such as British American Tobacco, Siemens and Weatherford International where she single-handedly or with a small team managed their brand image and reputation around the Middle East and North Africa region through strategic external and internal marketing and communications for over 15 years.

Carine is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Leadership and Innovation in Contemporary Media at the American University in Dubai (AUD) and holds a summa cum laude Bachelors degree in Visual Communications, Graphic Design from the same. Carine is also a certified Applied Neuroscience Practitioner and Neurometric Assessor, a certified trainer in the “Science of Happiness”, and a certified Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) Practitioner and Coach.

In her spare time, Carine is a member with Toastmasters International, who enjoys public speaking and emceeing in events, including acting in theatrical and improv productions around Dubai, United Arab Emirates. She is also an active community member with the Action for Happiness and The World Happiness Festival.
