Biography

Indi Seehra is Director of Human Resources at the London School of Economics and Political Science. In addition he is an independent member of the Board of Directors for Resaver, a multi-employer, multi-currency and multi-country Pension Scheme for organisations who are engaged in Research activity across Europe and an adviser to the International Bar Association’s Global Employment Institute.

Indi graduated from Portsmouth University and was subsequently awarded Masters Degrees from Sheffield Business School and University of Cambridge.

Indi held a number of significant private and public sector UK appointments including HR Director of the Crown Prosecution Service and subsequently the National Crime Agency. Over recent years he has been involved with respective European Union task Groups looking to overcome the barriers to mobility for Researchers. Indi has strong interests in Leadership and change management and global mobility, and is a Visiting Lecturer at Graz Medical University in Austria, University of Cambridge in UK and an adviser to two indian Universities. He is a regular speaker at International conferences with engagements in Singapore, Delhi and Thailand in 2019.

Until May 2014, he headed up Human Resources at the University of Cambridge and is a Visiting Member of Jesus College, Cambridge. He is the initiator of the Scholarship Partnership between the Golden Temple in Amritser and the University of Cambridge which has seen some 30 students studying PhD and Masters since 2010.
