Luyolo Geza

A seasoned HR leader, who operates as a business partner and trusted advisor to business. Geza has worked across Africa, Middle East & Turkey. A leader who focuses on organisational planning by adapting HR intelligence for future via talent driven solutions, best practice advisory, HR service and strategies for building sustainable organisations. During his career he has achieved outstanding results in improving business performance through talent development, performance management, managing business change, building critical business capabilities and leadership development.

Geza worked for local and multinational corporations (MNC’s) which amongst others they included Volkswagen of South Africa, General Motors of South Africa and the global giant science & research company, Du Pont de Nemours International as a Regional Director for Sub Sahara Africa. Geza has 21 years of human resources experience which includes consulting and advisory. With Du Pont he was responsible for “The Growth Strategy for Africa”, his main assignment, was robustly driving Human Capital Strategy, Remuneration Programs, Talent Acquisition & Mobility Strategies in 35 geographic areas of operation in Africa, delivering Du Pont’s African Footprint. As a Head of Human Resources for Sasol Dyno Nobel, his assignment was developing, implementing and driving people strategies and aligning them with bigger organizational strategic agenda. Geza also spent some time with national, provincial and local government (CSIR, SA Express Airways, Gauteng Partnership Fund and Mining Health & Safety Council) occupying senior HR management roles.

He previously served on the following Board(s) as the Non-Executive Director: Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (ICASA). Currently serving as Non-Executive Director for Institute of People Management (IPM); African Children's Fund for Education (ACFE) and University of South Africa (UNISA);
