Biography
Pooja B Luthra is a seasoned leadership expert with an interesting invigorating of over two
decades. Her career has transcended geographical boundaries where she has had the
opportunity to drive key people strategy in organizations worldwide. An organizational
psychologist from Chicago, IL, Pooja uses principles of behavioural economics to tailor and
deliver leadership solutions starting from access to the right leadership talent to right
fitment, alignment and goal-building, leadership talent development across cultures,
employee and stakeholder engagement, and organic growth consulting.
Having spent more than a decade and a half working with Gallup, Pooja has held key roles
involving work with CXOs in North America, MENA and APAC helping them build
organizations they dream of and deploy a holistic talent strategy in the wake of various
environmental disruptions. She has consulted over 100 organizations in creating and
sustaining a strengths based, engagement focused and performance oriented culture. Her
work has transcended across organizations worldwide – Accenture, Airtel, Astra Zeneca,
Apollo Hospitals, Daimler, GSK, Hero MotoCorp, HCL, Mashreq Bank, VE Commercial to
name a few.
One of the key influences that has impacted both her thinking and the work she has done
has been in the area of behavioural economics. While the principles apply in all walks of life,
they tend to be deeper and more profound when it comes to leading large organizations
and ensuring alignment of goals, performance, values and engagement. Pooja's passion for
this field of work is visible in her publications, her interactions and her relationship with
leaders in the industry who are well versed with the value she delivers.
A thought leader in her field of work, she regularly addresses corporate forums and is a
published author for Gallup, HR Katha, People Matters etc. She wrote "India's Performance
Management Problem" and had been a key researcher for Gallup in India on the topic of
millennials. She has also represented the Gallup philosophy in various educational institutes
within the country to encourage and incorporate strengths as part of the overall
development of children and young adults.
Pooja has now founded Humane InsightsTM with a vision to bring global learning closer
home. Humane InsightsTM is focused on transforming home grown organizations into talent
magnets with one underlying principle: Being Humane! Pooja hopes to share her and her
networks global experience in helping organizations drive a talent strategy that is ahead of
the disruptions that threaten us economically, socially and technologically. She leads work
around diversity, inclusion, performance development, and alignment of HR strategy with
organizational strategy amongst other strategic initiatives. Further, the foundation arm of
Humane InsightsTM is focused on helping organizations and state governments in India drive
a holistic education strategy for overall development of children from a younger age.
Pooja's holistic vision in the field of responsible leadership has made her a valuable addition
to the boards of several publicly listed organizations hence enforcing the talent agenda as a
