Chowdhury Abd Allah Quaseed

Chowdhury Abd-Allah Quaseed has been working for about 23 years now, in sectors including Apparel & Textile, Banking (Local as well as Multinational), Food & Bakery, ICT and Telecommunication Infrastructure, Shipping and Logistics, Television and Online Media. He has been a trainer for all companies he has worked in as well as for many multinationals and local corporates along with groups of industries and has also been a Consultant for many projects of donor agencies, foreign organizations and corporate bodies.

Currently, Quaseed is CHRO of DekkoIsho Group (which employs about 16000 people) since July 2021and is also a "Career Life and Business Consultant/Advisor"advising and guiding hundreds of people and quite a few entrepreneurs and business entities in all of these three aspects and regularly posts video blogs on subjects related to all three areas. He was also the Executive Director at Saad Group in 2021, ( a spin-off ofNoman Groupwhich employs about 30,000 people); Director Strategic Business Developmentand HR atGweebarra Food Industriesin 2017 and 2018; Director HR Compliance Welfare and Admin at Ananta Group from 2010 till start of 2017 (a company employing 25000 people); Head of HR Development and Corporate Communications and SUN Business Unit at Techvalley Groupin 2008 -9; Head of HR MIS and Dhaka Operations at KDS Accessories (employing 1500 people) of KDS Group (with a workforce of 20,000) from 2006 to 2008, Manager Business Development at BRAC Bank in 2002; Officer and Senior Officer Retail Banking at HSBC between 1999 and end of 2001, and Management Trainee at Sea Consortium Pte Limited in Singapore in 1998. He was engaged as a Senior Consultant for Seba Limited Consultants group between 2004 to 2006 during which time he carried out many projects for GIZ ( the German government donor agency), Katalyst, Swiss Contact and many other donor organizations. He also spent the years 2003 to 2006 as a Corporate Trainer and the years 2019 to beginning of 2022 as an Organizational Development Consultant and Trainer, rendering services and implementing projects for many organizations, listed below. He worked at Alliance for Better Worker Safety as theChief Communication Advisor in 2017.

Apart from conducting hundreds of trainings in the organizations that he worked in, he also carried out exclusive trainings between 2003 and 2006, and between 2019 and early 2022 for GrameenPhone (Telenor)FAO– United Nations ; FAO – UN – Bangladesh ; DHL; Paxar; Avery Dennison; General Pharmaceuticals,Novotel; Arla Foods ( Dano); Netherlands Embassy; CARE Bangladesh; Eserve Group; SEBA Group, Square Toiletries,Square GroupNational Agricare, Bayer Crop Science,Impress GroupChannel Ietc. He has conducted mixed batch trainingswith participants from various organizations including other telcos and banks. Many of these were organized and outsourced by FutureLeaders Group, MMCG and IITM.He also conducted trainings in Kolkata in 2019 for mixed batch of professionals organized by PMI Kolkata. He has facilitated workshops for GAPin Indonesia and Chinaand for BESTSELLERas well. Recent in 2021 and 2022 he assisted GIZ through SEBA Group in a number of projects related to training curriculum development for mass population. He was a consultant also for Ascend Technologies (an American IT Company), and GoBDGo Travels; National Agricare. Ananta Group;Future Leaders Group; Savaar Textiles and Supa Sox; MACES; Universal Menswear; Summit Communications Limited; Entertrainment Program of Travel Art BD Limited; M K Footwear Industries Limited, and carried out projects for Katalyst, and many global donor agencies.He has trained few thousand students of IBA, AIUB, NSU, MIU, Daffodil University, South East University and many other universities and colleges and has trained few hundred AIESECers.

He has been awarded several times at the World HR Congress held in Mumbai in 2017, 2018, and 2020, with citations such as "One of the 500 Most Fabulous Globa HR Leaders","One of the 100 Most Influential HR Personalities Globally", "One of the Global Inspiring HR Leaders", and also at the Asian Award in 2017 for HR Branding in Singapore in July 2017 and was awarded National Employer Branding Award held in Dhaka ( at the Le Meriden hotel) in September 2017. He received the National Award for Contribution in Human Capacity Development by Citizens Open Forumin Oct 2017 and was recognized by the Alumni Association of NSU as one of the "Golden Legend of the 90s". In 2018 February he received the very prestigious Commonwealth Common Purpose Leadership Scholarship and attended the 2 week long Leadership program in London as a national representative of Bangladesh to the forum, followed by the closing segment of the program in Delhi in 2019 September.The program was sponsored by Duke of Edinburgh and certificates were handed by HRH Princess Anne.

He was the Concept Designer & Host of talk show Survivor Diaries on HerNet TV, has been publishing Video Blogs under the series title "Lets Talk About." He was also Producer, Concept Designer & Host of AgamirKontho – Voice of Tomorrow on Bangla VisionandAgamirBhabna – Ideas for Tomorrow on Gazi TV, totaling over 150 weeks of airing. He was also the Moderator of Project Laser Beam – Channel I in 2011 - a special program highlighting the CSR activities of Unilever, and was also the Facilitator of talk show segment: Spelling Bee Season 1 – Channel I. In print media, he has over 100 articles published in The Daily Star, The Independent, The Dhaka Tribune, The Bangladesh Post, New Age and international publications as well such as Apparel Online. He is Director Public Image - Rotary Club of Banani Model Town;an active Member of Alumni Association of Commonwealth Study Circle; Founder President - Build Bangladesh Foundation; Fellow Member & President of Events Committee - BOLD (Bangladesh Organization of Learning & Development); Founder President - Bangladesh Society for Apparels HR Professionals (BSHARP); and had beenDirector - International Opportunities and Communications - JCI ( Junior Chamber International ) Bangladesh Dhaka East Chapter.He is an alumni from the 2nd batch of North South University, 1994 enrollment and completion in 1999, the most prestigious and oldest private university of Bangladesh.
