Biography

Sheril Beotra, I am a profound HR professional whose journey began 12 years back with Taj Rambagh, Jaipur as an intern. During the Industrial Training, HR department was my main connect. This experience of a few weeks in the HR department made me realise my inner values which coincided with the qualities needed to be an HR professional. This stint introduced me to the HR field and transformed my life. This also motivated me to complete my Hotel Management followed by Masters in Human Resource. This is how my professional journey started into HR and continued thereon.

In my journey of 12 years I have worked with some of the renowned brands like ITC, Taj, Aman group, Royal Orchid, Carlson Rezidor. I am currently working with Hilton in Delhi. During my professional journey with the brands I have given my best of capabilities to bring the name of the unit to the top in the stream and get identified for its HR achievements in the group. I am pleased to endorse that my efforts have always been recognized by my supervisors and peers. The achievements I booked in my name during my tenure with the organizations have always motivated me to do more. During my association with Carlson Group, I was also recognized and awarded as the Best HR Manager. I also got the opportunity to work as a mentor for the development programmes for the budding General Managers of the group. I have also booked in my name, the opening of pre-opening hotels and setting its HR department.

I am a people's person and have always worked with an open door policy. During all my assignments, my major focus has always been in making the best and more employee driven policies and to create an environment that makes an employee feel at home. One of the most important task of an HR manager is to ensure that the individual should feel like coming to work every day. I believe that it is very important to keep the employees engaged and connected to the organization. Monetary benefit is not the only motivating factor for people these days as work-life balance has become an equally important factor and should be taken care of.

Going further my focus is more on introducing employee friendly policies and ensuring that every individual enjoys their work to the best. I strongly believe that a happy employee is always an asset to the organization.
